About Us	Christ the Shepherd is being formed to help people in greater Danbury discover a full life in the worship of God and through His life-transforming love.
Our Vision	Our vision is to experience and extend the power of God’s truth and grace throughout the greater Danbury region. We envision a kind of community where it is “safe” to be deeply flawed and broken wherein we will discover the life-transforming love of God as revealed in Jesus Christ and mediated through the Church in both word and deed. People and relationships will be changed, even as this will change greater Danbury for the glory of God. Our ultimate goal is for God to be glorified in the gospel of Jesus Christ, all to the praise of God’s glorious grace in and around Danbury, Southern New England and throughout the world!

Our Five Basic Commitments	We are committed to the Old and New Testaments as our only rule of faith and practice. We are committed to the teachings of grace as they are summarized in the historic Westminster Confession of Faith. We are committed to God-centered worship designed after a covenantal pattern that is in the mediated presence of Christ through word and sacrament. We are committed to being a multi-cultural church and church-planting movement. We are committed to a high view of Christian calling as reflected in the vocational spheres of family, church, and public service.
